Sunday Morning Worship Gathering

Join us for our upcoming sermon series, "Encountering Jesus," where we will delve into some of the most significant encounters that Jesus had during his time on earth. As we explore these encounters, we will see how they can inform and inspire our own faith journeys.

In the first week of the series, we will focus on Jesus' time in the wilderness, as recorded in the Gospel of Luke. We will see how Jesus overcame temptation and relied on God's word to guide him through his struggles. 

In the second week, we will examine the Sermon on the Mount, as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew. We will explore Jesus' teachings on love, mercy, and forgiveness, and how they call us to live as his followers.

Moving on to the Gospel of Mark, we will explore the cost of discipleship in the third week of the series. We will see how Jesus called his followers to take up their cross and follow him, even if it meant giving up everything they had. 

Finally, in the last week of the series, we will look at the raising of Lazarus, as recorded in the Gospel of John. We will see how Jesus' power over death gives us hope and comfort in times of grief and loss.

Our series will be led by Pastor Phil Diaz, who brings his years of experience in ministry and his deep love for God's word to each sermon.
