Generosity has always been part of the story at Greencastle Church of the Nazarene. From the early days of serving Thanksgiving meals to hungry children during the Great Depression, to supporting outreach in our community today, giving has never just been about budgets — it has been about people. When you give, you help make Sunday worship possible, support discipleship for the next generation, and extend compassion beyond our church walls. Lives are touched through missions, local outreach, children’s ministry, and practical care for families in need — all because of faithful generosity.

 

In Scripture, the tithe is the first 10% given back to God as an act of trust and obedience, recognizing that everything we have comes from Him. Offerings are gifts given above the tithe to support special ministries, missions, or needs as God leads. We believe giving is an act of worship — not pressure, but joyful participation in what God is doing.
